VC invited to University of Nottingham, UK as a guest of honor to attend Graduation Ceremony
Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Ram Kantha Makaju Shrestha is leading a delegation to the United Kingdom from Saturday, 13th July, 2013 to 20th July, 2013. Dr. Shrestha has been invited to deliver VIP Speech during Annual Graduation Ceremony at University of Nottingham as a guest of honor.
The theme of his VIP Speech will be 'Global issues of sustainability and ecological solutions to improving the health and wealth of a nation such as Nepal' which will be delivered at the Coates Road Auditorium on 15th July, 2013.
The Vice Chancellor's delegation comprises of Mr. Narayan Gopal Malego, Secretary of Ministry of Education, Dr. Rajendra Prasad Koju, Associate Dean, School of Medical Sciences, and Dr. Bim Prasad Shrestha, Head of Mechanical Engineering Department of Kathmandu University.
During the visit the delegation will also discuss various aspects of bilateral collaboration with the government and higher academic institutions of UK. The delegation will meet UK Minister for Universities and Science, Global Director of Education of British Council, dignitaries of Nottingham University and other higher education institution of UK.
Kathmandu University has signed a MoU with the University of Nottingham on 5 March, 2013.
