Bhattarai appointed Vice-Chancellor of Kathmandu University

Rt. Hon’ble Prime Minister and the Chancellor of Kathmandu University, Dr. Baburam Bhattarai appointed Dr. Suresh Raj Sharma as the Vice Chancellor of Kathmandu University for the next four years tenure.

Dr. Sharma has been working as the founder member and Vice-Chancellor of Kathmandu University since 1991.

Government of Nepal had formed a 'Vice-Chancellor Search Committee' on 11 December, 2011.  Hon’ble Minister for Education and Pro-Chancellor Mr. Dinanath Sharma was heading the committee along with other two members Mr. Damannath Dhungana, Chairman of Board of Trustee and Dr. Lok Bikram Thapa, Senator of Kathmandu University.
