High Level Delegation Team from Punjab Technical University Paid a Visit to Kathmandu University
April 5, 2012Dhulikhel, Kavre A high level delegation team led by Dr. Rajneesh Arora, Vice-Chancellor of Punjab Technical University (PTU) paid a visit to Kathmandu University on 5th April, 2012.Vice-Chancellor Dr. Suresh Raj Sharma welcomed to his counterpart Dr. Arora and his entire team members at a program organized by Kathmandu University. Dr. Sharma said that internationalization of the institution is the need of the day. Kathmandu University is open to expand its relationship with international institutions in area of mutual interest and public good.Dr. Rajneesh Arora has presented mission and vision of Punjab Technical University. He claimed that PTU is a state university and primarily focused on the need based academic programs through more than 400 affiliated colleges and the training centers across India. Dr. Gulshan Sharma, President of North India Management Association (NIMA) – Knowledge Partner of PTU, highlighted the objectives of the visit. He further said that NIMA is working towards improving business climate and networking opportunities for Punjab Technical University. Prof. Dr. Bhadra Man Tuladhar, Registrar of Kathmandu University expressed thanks for the visit and highlighted some possible areas of interest in which Kathmandu University and Punjab Technical University can make collaboration for mutual benefit.
