The second phase of the 27th Convocation was organized on 3 June 2022 at Kathmandu University, Dhulikhel. A total of 1,715 graduates (undergraduate to Ph.D.levels) received degrees from six different schools i.e. School of Arts, School of Education, School of Engineering, School of Management, School of Medical Sciences, and School of Science received their degree certificates during the second phase of the convocation. Among them 680 (39.65%) were female. Of the total, 158 ( 9.15 %) were foreign students from India, Sri Lanka, Maldives, USA, Australia, China, Bangladesh, Netherlands, Germany and South Korea. As of now, the University has produced more than 38,339 graduates with 45.28% female students.
The ceremony was chaired by the Chancellor of Kathmandu University Rt. Hon’ble Prime Minister Mr. Sher Bahadur Deuba, and motivational speech/convocation speech was delivered by Director, Indian Institute of Technology, Hyderabad, India Prof. B.S. Murty.
