This is a course as a part of disciplinary development, within the Building Stronger Universities (BSU) II program between Kathmandu University (KU) and Danish Universities that seeks to strengthen the capacity in the field of sustainability. This training program is fully sponsored as a part of disciplinary development under BSU II at KU funded by Danida Fellowship Center (DFC), DANIDA, Denmark. The training course on Sustainability Analysis of Bioenergy Systems will be for 5 days commencing from 13th March to 17th March 2016 from 9 AM to 5 PM at Dhulikhel and Kathmandu.
The course will provide understanding of the complex interactions between a number of environmental and technological parameters related to biomass provision and energy conversion, including understanding of biogas technology for optimizing plant efficiency and sustainability. You will gain tools for understanding and conducting sustainability analyses, through hands-on examples of positive and negative bioenergy cases.
