Turbine Testing Lab (TTL) celebrated its Third Anniversary on November 18, 2014 at TTL Auditorium. Norwegian delegates representing NTNU, SINTEF, Norwegian Research Council, NORAD, NINA, delegates of Bhutan and Uganda, Founder Vice Chancellor of KU, Registrar, Deans and Associate Deans, Professors, Associate and Assistant Professors, Lecturers of Mechanical Engineering Department, Staffs of KU and TTL attended the program. The program was started with welcome speech of Dr. Hari Prasad Neopane, Associate Professor and Head of Department of Mechanical Engineering. At that moment, he spoke about the ongoing and future activities of the lab. The speech was followed by the official release of the Third Anniversary Issue Magazine of TTL by the Founder VC of KU, Prof. Dr. Suresh Raj Sharma and Prof. Dr. Ole Gunnar Dahlhaug from NTNU. After that release, there was an inauguration release of the first Project Compendium of Mechanical Engineering Department, ‘Aviyanta 2014’ by Prof. Dr. Bhola Thapa. In that occasion, Prof. Bim Prasad Shrestha, Associate Dean of Research, School of Engineering shared his thoughts and gave vote of thanks to all invitees. The event was complemented by the MED Project Exhibition outside the Auditorium, which consisted of many of the undergraduate projects handled by the department.
