Talk program on ICT in ELT through Language Lab organized at KU

Humanities and Management Unit, School of Engineering organized a talk program on “ICT in ELT Through Language Lab” in Mini Auditorium on 18 February. The main speaker of the event was Dr. K.J. Vargheese, Associate Professor of English from Christ College, Kerela, India who presented about the importance of ICT in the modern day classroom. During the session, he also presented the probable dimensions on how ICT can transform various other teaching and learning methods besides language lab. The talk program was organized in collaboration with Orell Technosystems Pvt. Ltd., India.

Attendees of the talk program were senior faculties, Head of Departments, administrative staffs, ISMS team and students. The program was well appreciated by the participants as it was relevant in the application of ICT in various other disciplines besides ELT.

Dr. Vargheese and his team also visited the newly installed digital language lab in the Engineering Block 8.
