Different books related with Sanitation Technology were handed over to the Central Library of Kathmandu University by team of Global Sanitation Graduate School (GSGS Project) led by Prof. Dr. Bim Prasad Shrestha. On behalf of Central Library, Mr. Shekhar P Dhungana – Chief, Information & Library received the books in presence of Mr. Dev Raj Adhikari – Former Librarian and other staff members.

Thirty-four books related to wastewater treatment, municipal solid waste management, water transmission and distribution, wind power and student workbooks were provided to the library. These books will be useful for the students in Sanitation Technology, Civil Engineering, Environmental Science & Engineering, and other related subjects.

The books are available with the generous support from Mr. Ravi Meelan Kachhapati, who is a registered professional engineer at the City of San Jose, California, USA. Earlier Mr. Kachhapati has provided few Guest lectures to the Sanitation program in KU.
