KOICA-APP program, a collaborative research program between KU and Seoul National University (SNU), organized an opening ceremony and workshop on August 4 and 5 at the main campus, Dhulikhel. The program was jointly launched by Registrar, KU.
This academic partnership program aims to establish KS B &W Center at KU for industrialization of the natural resources of Nepal.
During the project opening ceremony Prof. Mohan Bikram Gewali, Dean of School of Science, KU, and Prof. Byung Gee Kim of SNU highlighted the significance of the KOICA-APP program.
The
opening ceremony was followed by a workshop on the water and bio-project of
KS B &W Center. Speakers from KU, SNU, Government of Nepal and the industry shed lights on the importance of water and the natural
resources for industrialization in Nepal.
