On 19 August 2021, Kathmandu University (KU) and Society of Economic Journalists Nepal (SEJON) signed a Memorandum of Understanding to promote collaborative activities involving concerned researchers and students from different schools of KU. SEJON will conduct media and communication campaigns to highlight research projects and findings of KU faculties, researchers, and students through various communication mediums.
The Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Bhola Thapa highlighted the importance of collaboration with SEJON to communicate specialised research and development activities to the masses in vernacular terms. Likewise, Mr Bhim Gautam, the President of SEJON, expressed his commitments that actions based on this MOU shall be seen soon in the form of tangible outcomes.
The MoU was signed by the Dean of the School of Arts Prof. Dr. Sagar Raj Sharma on behalf of KU and the President Mr. Bhim Gautam from SEJON.
