KU Student Welfare Directorate (SWD) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Malteser International e.V. (Malteser Int’l), Germany, on 22 May 2015 (8 Jyestha 2072) at the Central Campus, Dhulikhel.

The MoU was signed by Prof. Dr. Kanhaiya Jha, the Director of SWD and Mr. Arno Coerver, the team leader Emergency Response Nepal from Malteser Int’l. Dr. Dhurva Gauchan and Mr. Diwakar Bista, Associate Directors from SWD, and The Understanding will be focused to providing storage facilities for relief items and the distribution of relief by Malteser Int’l to the victims of earthquake in Kavre and Sindhupalchwok districts, in which KU students will contribute as volunteers.

The MoU will remain effective from 4 May to 24 July 2015.
