On 28-29 August 2022, the "8th Nepal Higher Education Fair" was held at The Everest Hotel, New Baneshwor, Kathmandu with its theme of "Learn Locally, Fit Globally", managed by Vision Media Incorporation.

Kathmandu University also participated along with the 50+ leading colleges in the annual event, which aims at reducing the brain drain in the country. By participating in the event, Kathmandu University intended to propagate the message of quality education and the facilities available to the students, teachers, and guardians through its seven schools and 200+ academic programs. The University informed the audience about the ongoing and forthcoming admission calls in its various programs and also focused on disseminating information about the university’s new programs such as BSc. in Bioinformatics, B.Sc. in Computational Mathematics, B. Tech. in Artificial Intelligence, and several graduate and postgraduate programs.
