On 21 July 2022, Kathmandu University and Khabareducation.com organized a half-day sharing session among the Vice-Chancellors and key officials of higher education institutions in the presence of the Honourable Devendra Poudel, Minister for Education, Science, and Technology. The Minister spoke about issues and responded to the questions that were raised by the Officials present in the meeting.

Prof. Bhola Thapa, the Vice Chancellor of Kathmandu University, highlighted key activities performed by Kathmandu University. At the beginning of the sharing session, Prof. Bal Chandra Luitel, Dean of School of Education, Kathmandu University appraised the current scenario of higher education highlighting the need to diversify higher education in terms of internationalization of higher education. Prof. Bidya Nath Koirala, Prof. Ganesh Gurung, and other officials highlighted ways in which higher education can be made relevant, meaningful, and authentic for prospective students.
