In a collaborative effort, the Insolvency Law Academy (ILA) and Kathmandu University School of Law proudly announced the inauguration of the Centre for Insolvency Studies. The ceremony unfolded at the Glass House in Dhulikhel, uniting legal experts, scholars, and distinguished guests.The ceremony commenced with an assembly at the venue, led by MC Ayush Gurung. The proceedings were formally initiated as Ayush Gurung called on the dignitaries to the dias.

Amidst an aura of anticipation, Prof. Dr. Rishikesh Wagle, Dean of Kathmandu University School of Law, delivered a warm welcome speech, setting the tone for the event. The President of ILA, Sumant Batra, shed illuminating light on the significance and pivotal role of the newly established Centre.

Highlighting the interdisciplinary and far-reaching importance of the Centre, Dr. Shiva Kumar Giri(LL.M Coordinator) shared their valuable remarks, underscoring its potential impact on legal scholarship and practice.
