On 7 March 2022, an interaction program with His Excellency Dr. Thomas Prinz, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Nepal was organized at Kathmandu University, Dhulikhel.
The program was moderated by Dr. Uddhab Pyakurel where he gave a brief introduction of the Kathmandu University focussing on how it has been working to develop as a research university with the provision of providing Research Fellows to the Professors and Associate Professors.
His Excellency Dr. Prinz, in his remarks, expressed that the Student Exchange program is extremely important for cultural development and to broaden the outlook and thanked the university for starting the provision while the Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Bhola Thapa explained the initiatives and how the university has been empowering women whereas the Registrar Prof. Dr. Subodh Sharma, in the vote of thanks, talked about the possible future collaborations.
In the program, the Vice-Chancellor, the Registrar, Deans of School of Engineering and School of Science, Associate Deans of School of Engineering, School of Management and School of Science, representatives from the divisions and directorates under the Office of the Vice-Chancellor and the Office of the Registrar including other concerned faculties represented the university.
