Kathmandu University Business Incubation Center (KUBIC) is co-organizing the idea competition #Hackthequake with Janaki Tech. Pvt. Ltd and NEABIC. The event is an initiative by Janaki Technology meant to discover innovative ideas and concepts that use  locally available resources. The event is supported by DREAMS online magazine and Yantrakala and Robotics Association of Nepal. KUBIC and NEABIC will help in judgment and selection of the business ideas, and will further provide mentorship to selected ideas and arrange a venue for the finale of the event.

The categories for idea are:

1. Safe drinking water

2. Temp housing

3. Permanent housing

4. Information access

5. Energy access (preferably solar) 

6. Miscellaneous problems

Three winning ideas will be awarded NRs. 50,000 each.
