Kathmandu University welcomed His Excellency Matthias Meyer, Ambassador of Germany to Nepal, on January 9 in its Central premises, Dhulikhel.

Prof. Dr. Ram Kantha Makaju Shrestha, the Vice Chancellor held discussions with the Ambassador about the diplomatic relations between Nepal and Germany. The meeting was also about discussing the possible areas of cooperation and academic exchange between KU and the Universities in Germany through the Embassy where the Embassy would be working as a bridge between the Universities of both countries.

Ms. Elke Zopt, Third Secretary at the Legal and Consular Section of the Embassy and Mr. Felix Sebastian Ruediger, Research Assistant at the Embassy accompanied the Ambassador in his first ever visit to the University.
