Five member delegation led by Mr. Suraj Baidya, the Chairman of Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) paid a courtesy visit at Kathmandu University, Dhulikhel premises on 21 May, 2013.The team also included the members from International Finance Corporation (IFC, World Bank Group ) Mr. Fred Zake, Head Advisory service in South Asia and  Ms. Laura Anne Watson, Senior Private Sector Development Specialist.

Along with KU authorities, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Ram Kantha Makaju Shrestha welcomed the guests and interacted with the possible areas of mutual collaboration between KU and FNCCI.

Both institutions agreed to form a task force for perusing areas of interest and its effective implementation in the areas of research activities, scholarship, internship, job placement, and establishing long term projects and programs at Kathmandu University. The next meeting of the task force will be held at FNCCI office on June 3^rd 2013 to make the strategic planning for the implementation of agreed agenda.
