Finnish Ambassador Visits KU

Kathmandu University welcomed His Excellency Asko Luukkainon, the Ambassador of Finland to Nepal, on December 22 in its Central premises, Dhulikhel.

Prof. Dr. Ram Kantha Makaju Shrestha, the Vice Chancellor, and Prof. Dr. Bhola Thapa, the Registrar, received the Ambassador and had a brief discussion on the possible areas for collaboration between KU and the Universities in Finland.

Meanwhile, the meeting also sought the possibilities of exploring ways to create an environment for Nepali youths to have a promising career in the country.

During the visit, the Ambassador also took a tour to the Turbine Testing Lab, Technical Training Center, Lighting lab and the Library of the University.
