On 11 February 2022, the 'Endowment Fund: Contributors Recognition Event' was organized at Senate Hall, CV Raman Auditorium, Kathmandu University, Dhulikhel with the objective of recognizing the recent contributors. The endowment fund until Jestha 2078 was NRs. 26,64,43,745.00 and with the latest contributions of NRs. 2,03,58,000.00, the total endowment funds at Kathmandu University have reached NRs. 28,68,01,745.00.

The event started with a general briefing of the event by the Associate Dean of School of Engineering and Member of Endowment Committee Mr. Brijesh Adhikary and the formal inauguration was done by lightning the Panus jointly by the Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Bhola Thapa and the Founding Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Suresh Raj Sharma.

The Welcome Remarks was given by the coordinator of the Endowment Fund Committee Prof. Dr. Janardan Lamichhane.

The Former Dean of School of Education Prof. Kedar Nath Shrestha, Dr. Lava Deo Awasthi, Prof. Bivek Baral (SoE, KU), Mr. Shiv Raj Pant (Chair, BOT, LRI School), Bhoos Games, Kavre FNJ, KUSOM-MPPM Policy Contributions (Dr. Purna Bahadur Nepali), Prof. Magne Jorgenson / Dr. Stein Grimstad (Norway) were felicitated in the event.
