Dr. Bal Chandra Luitel, Associate Professor of Mathematics in School of Education, Kathmandu University, presented a keynote at the International STEM Research Symposium: Quantitative Reasoning in Mathematics and Science Education, held in Georgia, USA on May 31 to June 2, 2012.
The Symposium was well received by participants for discussing global issues on research and practice of mathematics education. Dr. Luitel, as an expert, shared his research experience in the theme of Mathematics as a Lived Experience (DIME) with prominent scholars of mathematics education.
The Symposium was jointly organized by Georgia Southern University, Colorado State University and theUniversity of Wyoming. Kathmandu University is a collaborative partner of the University of Wyoming for exchanging research and academic programs in mutual interest.
