The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (DoCSE), School of Engineering, organized a 3-Day Training on Research Methodology during June 29 – July 1, 2015, with support from University Grants Commission (UGC), Nepal.
The training was inaugurated by Prof. Mohan Bikram Gewali, Dean, School of Science. Prof. Dr. Ramesh Kumar Maskey, Assoc. Dean (Academics), School of Engineering, and Prof. Dr. Bim Prasad Shrestha, Assoc. Dean (Research and Others), School of Engineering, welcomed participants from different departments, and the resource persons.
Altogether 30 participants attended the training program.
The training focused on all aspects of research activities. The main objective of this training was to motivate participants in their respective research fields.
The organizing team members, Mr. Manoj Shakya, Mr. Sushil Shrestha and Dr. Gajendra Sharma thanked the resource persons. The program also included a short talk on Research and Development in Kathmandu University by Prof. Dr. Subodh Sharma, Director of Research, Development and Consultancy, and ended with closing remarks by Prof. Dr. Bim Prasad Shrestha.
