Admissions Announcement for
M. S. by Research in Glaciology
Kathmandu University, School of Science, Department of Environmental Science and Engineering announces admissions open for M. S. by Research in Glaciology course supported by the Cryosphere Monitoring Project (CMP) - ICIMOD funded by the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Contribution to High Asia Runoff from Ice and Snow (CHARIS) Project - The University of Colorado funded by the USAID.
ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION INTO M. S. by Research in Glaciology
year Bachelor's degree in HEnvironmental Science, Environmental Engineering or Civil Engineering with minimum 2.5 CGPA or 50% in aggregate marks are eligible to apply. Priority will be given to qualified female candidates, people from marginalized groups, candidates with sound health and high altitude field work experience are encouraged to apply.
SUBMISSION OF APPLICATIONS
Application forms are available at the university's administration office, School of Science, Block 06, Dhulikhel, Kavre, or on-line at the Kathmandu University, School of Science, Department of Environmental Science & Engineering website (Application Form for M. S. by Research). Submit completed application form with application fee of Rs. 1250 along with photocopies of previous academic and citizenship certificates to the department office at Dhulikhel, Kavre.
Last date of submission of application is Wednesday, 20 August 2014.
Only short listed candidates will be informed for an interview on Friday, 22 August 2014. Orientation and classes will commence from Monday, 1 September 2014.
