A meeting of the Research Committee of KU, School of Science held today under the chairmanship of Prof. Dr. Kanhaiya Jha, Dean, KUSOS. The meeting has approved 18 new Ph.D. applications and time is extended for some Ph.D. scholars as well.

  

  

   

  

  

   

   

Mr. Bijay Thapa, a scholar of PhD in Environmental Engineering successfully defended his PhD dissertation and research entitled "Pollutant Removal Kinetics in Municipal Wastewater Treatment Plants" on 25th November 2020. He had done research under supervision of Dr. Nawa Raj Khatiwada, former Associate Professor at Department of Environmental Science and Engineering and President at Nepal Development Research Institute.
